Rock N' Rib Festival

The 2nd Annual Rock N' Rib Festival is this Saturday, October 17th on the square in downtown Lawrenceville from 1pm - 9pm. The Rock N' Rib festival features barbeque from local area restaurants, caterers and cooking teams as well as live entertainment. There will also be a children's area, arts and crafts and a beergarten. You can also catch some college football in one of the tents and if you're game, enter a rib eating contest. Admission is free. Atlanta BBQ Festival!

Atlanta now has it's first official Barbeque Festival! The festival is this Saturday, September 12th, from 10am-6pm in the Green Lot at Turner Field. Admission is free. In addition to barbeque and a BBQ competition, there will be performing acts, vendors, a kid's area and a baseball clinic! You also have the chance to meet Otis Nixon and get his autograph! Kennesaw, GA
The Pigs and Peaches BBQ Festival is this Friday, August 14th, from 3pm to 11pm and Saturday, August 15th, from 10am to 10pm, at Adams Park and the Ben Robertson Community Center in Kennesaw. There will be live music, a children’s area, arts and crafts vendors, a parachuting team and plenty of BBQ! This festival also includes a Georgia State Championship Barbeque Cookoff with winners announced on Saturday afternoon. Admission and parking are free. The 9th Annual Decatur BBQ, Blues and Bluegrass Festival is this Saturday, August 15th, at Harmony Park in Decatur (in the Oakhurst neighborhood). The festival is from 4pm to 10pm.
